Brian Pursey, Group Chief Executive
After qualifying as a chartered accountant, Brian spent over fifteen years as a senior financial manager, mostly at Finance Director level. He is experienced in all aspects of financial management and has personally overseen the sale and purchase of a number of businesses.
Brian has also been closely involved in several MBOs and MBIs and has founded and grown two successful businesses. It is this foundation of skills and experience that Brian is able to share with other businesses, helping them to grow and succeed.
Brian is a family man and is a keen singer of classical music. He can also be seen regularly on the terraces of Oriel’s local football team, Cheltenham Town FC.
Adrian Stalley MICM, Director of Collections Services

Adrian joined Oriel in May 2003 having built his career as a creative and modern thinking manager in the debt recovery industry over the course of 15 years.
Prior to joining Oriel Adrian has held managerial roles at Endsleigh Insurance, NPower and Cellular Operations giving him a varied background in effective recovery techniques. Having previously managed a call centre of over 200 staff his man-management background is well respected. Prime importance is placed on motivation as this is proven to lead to more effective results.
Adrian’s role at Oriel has been to build the collections team to deliver excellent service to its growing client base, and to take personal involvement in client relationships to ensure that expectations are met at every stage.
Hugh Fell, Managing Director Oriel Support Ltd

Hugh Fell was appointed as Managing Director of Oriel Support Ltd in October 2009.
Hugh has been in the factoring and finance industry for over 27 years. Before joining Oriel, Hugh worked for Lloyds TSB Commercial Finance as manager of the Recruitment Finance division. He has an in depth understanding of the role of finance in recruitment agencies' growth. Hugh has also previously managed his own factoring and invoice discounting consultancy following roles with TheoFinance and Alex Lawrie.
As Managing Director of Oriel Support Ltd Hugh's main responsibilities will cover managing the payroll and funding facilities for the recruitment industry, as well as risk management and compliance.
Hugh is a keen sports enthusiast closley following cricket, rugby and football. In his spare time Hugh also enjoys holidaying in the Greek Islands.
Steve Wortley, Managing Director Oriel Contractors Ltd

Steve Wortley was appointed as Managing Director of Oriel Contractors Ltd in October 2010.
Oriel Contractors are a leading specialist provider of contractor payroll solutions and Umbrella services to the recruitment and independent contractor market.
Steve's main responsibilities will be to lead and drive the development and growth of the Oriel Contractors division. Oriel contractors has a clear vision to become one of the UK's top providers of Umbrella and CIS services to contractors and to become a first choice supplier to the UK's top 250 recruitment agencies and employment businesses.
Steve joins Oriel after having been previously on the main board of the Driver Hire Group the UK's largest supplier of driving and industrial temporary workers to the logistics industry. During his time with Driver Hire Steve helped the company to achieve year on year double digit growth and also won the highly prestigious franchisor of the year award in 2006.
